Faithfully LGBTQ+ Series

Due to unforeseen circumstances, this event is being rescheduled. The format and theme, as seen below, will remain the same.
Please check back in the coming weeks for updates!

Rooted in our commitment to the full inclusion of LGBTQ+ people in the life and leadership of the church, this November, we’re embarking on a new series entitled “Faithfully LGBTQ.” This faith formation opportunity will include multiple sessions focused on deepening our understanding of our LGBTQ+ neighbors and ourselves and committing to live into this learning together in our faith community.

Sessions will be held approximately every two months, providing intentional time and space to integrate this learning into our community life. Each future session topic will grow out of the conversations we share and our collective discernment.

The third session of the Faithfully LGBTQ+ will focus on discerning our faithful next steps as a community and the actions we feel called to take as individuals in response to all we have been learning together.

Please note that this session will have a different format!

On the rescheduled date, our facilitator, Katie Kuntz-Wineland, will preach in both worship services at St. Andrew's (8am & 10am). Then, around 11:30am, we will share some guided community conversation over a light meal. This session will be entirely centered around discussion as we discern our “next right things” * in the work of radical love and inclusion. Those from other faith communities are warmly welcome to join for worship and discussion or simply join us around 11:30am for the community conversation portion. If you are unable to attend worship and are interested in Katie's sermon, you can always check it out on the St. Andrew's Facebook page!

Lunch will be provided beginning at 11:30 am in St. Andrew’s Parish Hall, and our conversation will last from around 11:30am to 12:30pm.
