What is Baptism?
​
This is full initiation by water and the Holy Spirit into Christ's Body, the Church. Each candidate for baptism is to be sponsored by one or more baptized persons. They are held during Sunday gatherings in order for the candidate to be surrounded by the community.

Four days of proper baptism
The water of Baptism may be administered by affusin (pouring). Baptism is especially appropriate at Easter Vigil (Easter Eve) and generally not during Lent (the six weeks before Easter).
